A Rich Red

Smake print blouse SaintTropez

Add a pop of colour to your winter wardrobe with this beauty of a blouse from Denmark.  Now in stock in sizes XS-L, tie it as shown or higher as pussy bow blouse.  Dress it up or down.  Very nice.

A woolly window for the weekend

Two Danes

Winter has finally arrived, it’s currently 10c in Haslemere.  We don’t mind, we like the change of seasons and like to have cooler weather when we’re supposed to have it.  Time for a window with warm stuff.  Two Danes takes centre stage with its 100% lambswool pieces in silver grey and denim blue.

Maison Anje

And this angora/wool blend cardigan/jacket with lurex detail from French brand, Maison Anje, is rather beautiful.  And warm. £110.00 just a fiew pieces in S/M and M/L.  Also available in a nut brown colourway.

Mind your head

Everyone said we were mad when we found this site 9.5 years ago.  However, we loved the layout of the shopfloor and uncovered this wonderful original ceramic floor which was hidden under a layer of filthy carpet tiles.  We laid pine floor boards and painted them white.  Here’s a view from one end of the shopfloor to another end.  The building is L-shaped.

From the same position but looking the other way.  This building started life as a pub in the 18th century.  We didn’t want standard shop fittings so we sourced (with the expert help of Annie & Katherine from Holly Park) original furniture for display purposes.

Last week’s window

I expect you’re all going to be sick of leopard print this time next year judging by the amount we’ve seen on the high street and smaller shops.  However, this Saint Tropez shift dress can be worn as a dress as shown or open as a long coat (tie the belt at the back to pull it in).  You’ll still be wearing this next summer with bleached jeans and trainers.  £59.99.

ps: Cream jumper of joy is Maison Anje – a deceptively soft blend of angora and wool.  £110.00

PJ’s are coming

Lounge-pants and PJ sets are scheduled to arrive at the end of October (just in time for the start of the present buying season).  Regulars will know that we have always offered pj bottoms as an option in the run up to Christmas. We are delighted to tell you that we have found a brand new supplier with lovely pajamas and bottoms at great prices.  Bottoms are £24.00 and the PJ top and bottom sets are £48.00 (nothing like sourcing something you personally need!).

Sneakers with Stars

Another new brand for us.  Vintage leather sneakers with star detail.  Available in a metallic silver grey or a dark blue.  YESSSS…..

Made in Italy so that’s nice.  I popped a pair on as soon as the box was delivered this afternoon and I can confirm they are very comfottable and true to size.  Sizes 4-8 (sorry, no size 3 available).  £95.00

Boiler Suit update

We are just about to place our order for this stylish piece from Lithuania.  This is a 98% cotton dark blue denim version and it will retail at £120.00.  Just awaiting clarification on colour options but we LOVE it.  I used to wear a pink one in my teens and it is strange how fashions come around again. It will be the winter version of the linen dungarees I have LIVED in all summer.  No guesses for who is going to be first in line for a pair of these….
