Quite simply the best winter boots in the whole wide world. They perform beautifully in snow and look stylish around town too. Leather lined with a shock absorbent sole and I have to say I have yet to meet a more comfortable boot. I wore mine to Berlin one Christmas when the city was enjoying deep snow and they were perfect. I, like a few other customers, are ready for a new pair so we’ve placed a little order for December delivery.
Expect to see this new grey leopard print, musk (dark olive green) and the ever popular black in a mid-calf length in a small selection of sizes from a 3 to an 8. if you fancy a pair, let us know and we’ll add your name to the waiting list. RRP is around the £240-£250 mark but will depend on Euro exchange rate at the time of delivery. Handmade in Italy.
A truly wonderful wool blend coat has just arrived from Denmark. I did mention earlier that we hadn’t ordered any coats on forward order but left it until now to see what was available on a short order basis. We’ve found some crackers and here’s one of them. An ideal coat for work or throwing over jeans when you’re looking for something a little more classic. A beautiful blend of black and white which is perked up by a bright red bag. A brightly coloured scarf will have the same affect. As much as we love colour, sometime it’s easier to go for a traditional monochrome colour and then simply add accessories to ring the changes. Sizes XS-L, £129.95
The first drop from Masai’s High Season collection is in. Star of the show is this linen/wool blend in taupe (they call the colour khaki which is misleading) at £124.00. Beautiful quality in a beautiful shape.
Next up is the Iselma blouse in a pretty monochrome print. We’ll be wearing it over leggings, jeans and on its own with tights and boots. Great shape in a crinkle viscose fabric which is a Masai hallmark. £86.00
We’ll be posting more photos of the other garments very shortly. Two very pretty cream tunics and tops and a bias cut black dress which is pretty WOW.
Thanks to the vagaries of British weather, we didn’t actually buy any coats on forward order this year. The last two winters have been unseasonably warm and we reckon that people who have bought new coats during the last two years haven’t really had a chance to wear them. Hopefully that won’t the case this year and it’ll actually be cold this winter. However, I spotted this faux fur number on a recent buying trip and was smitten. It looks and feels at least twice the price. £95.00 and a few pieces now available in sizes 8-14. I am just 5ft 2″ so that will give you an idea of length. One size 12 going home with me today.
This is Sorrento. She’s sturdier than her best-selling counterpart, Elderberry, with a slightly lower heel and stitching detail around the toes. She’s just as comfortable though and sized from a 36 to 41 (3-8). She’s available in black suede and as always we provide a complimentary protective suede spray on purchase. That’s the beauty of running your own business, you can choose to do what you like and that’s something we like doing. Once suede has been sprayed twice, it will last longer and any marks or spills will simply brush out. She’s £120.00 which also means that if you’re a loyalty card holder you’ll also go away with a £10 voucher and 2 paw points.
A stunning silk top with a nod to the Boho trend is now available. This one-size number is 100% silk with delicate embroidery detail on the front. Very pretty. Other colours are navy, mink and black. A bit of snip at £35.00. Wear it with jeans when you want something a little smarter than a knit, tucked in or out – whatever works best for you. We reckon this will fit a size 8/10 up to a size 16. Happy Monday.
We’ve sold these YAYA turtle necks since we opened over 7 years ago and every year we sell out of them. That’s because they feel fantastic, fit beautifully and wash like a dream. Dark Green, charcoal grey and light grey are the first colours to come into stock. Sized from XS-XL and nicely priced at £39.95. We’re delighted to see that their popular stud detail on the sleeves are back for 2016.
We’ve had a phenomenal response to the autumn/winter MosMosh denim range. In particular this pair of Ozzy Biker jeans with stud detail on the pockets. One way of getting more wear out of them is to team them with chunky knit like this one from Masai and add trainers. Jan, in the photo, is 61 and proof that age is but a number and it’s not what you wear, it’s how you wear it that matters. A really gunmetal grey (even though the description says black btw). £119.95
Just as nice dressed up too. We’re out of stock of a few sizes but just placing a third order for sizes 28 and 26
We’ve now sold out of these pretty pouches but we’re pleased to report that another order has been placed and hopefully back in stock before not too long. Perfect presents for Christmas (sorry, had to be said) and plenty of you asking if they will be back in stock for that reason. £15.99
The new kid on the poncho block. You’ll need to feel this to really appreciate just how soft it is.
We’re liking the subtle star detail on the front. Just one size and available in a range of lovely colours including this denim blue, pale grey, charcoal grey, olive green, taupe and cream, £45.00
The sweater version of this flew out in record time but we’re hoping to get our hands on a few more next week so keep your eyes peeled on the what’s new section if you’re interested. They’re also £45.00 and just one size.
